Assalamualaikum
She hauled her weak body out of the town,
The town which once had witnessed the red and sweet faces,
Hands intertwined,
Just you and me,
And one thing called friendship.
Now tears are smudging her mascara,
All grown-up,
But shrinking heart,
Everything is collapsing,
Before her very eyes.
Friendship,
But now the ship sails,
Without a soul, to be called as a friend.
She hauled her weak body out of the town,
The town which once had witnessed the red and sweet faces,
Hands intertwined,
Just you and me,
And one thing called friendship.
Now tears are smudging her mascara,
All grown-up,
But shrinking heart,
Everything is collapsing,
Before her very eyes.
Friendship,
But now the ship sails,
Without a soul, to be called as a friend.
