Art of Letting You Go

Assalamualaikum

I've sided with you for a lifetime,
Never once I let them hurt you with those words,
You're to me as fragile as none,
As precious as the beating of your heart.

I've sided with you in my lifetime,
We're both parallel lines,
Never got to intertwine,
Staring at you with just one side.

The night I tried to have you, looking at it through another view,
For once I wished you to spare me your empathy,
Just look at me.
For once I turned away,
You threw me out just like last time without a goodbye.

I've sided with you long enough,
To realise you never once listened.
I've been too far from sanity,
For having to bottle up these feelings,
I don't need you to come back anymore.

 Assalamualaikum It's been months I guess? These days the monologues shared are within me and my mind only.  People said my looks are pale and clueless. If only they know, The things I keep replaying in my head. The things that keep my beatings awake and I promise you they include what I should have for my next meal.  I honestly don't know what has happened to me. What has befallen me, to make me who I am today. I replayed back the moments I had when I was young. Those people and places, those facades and brutal honesty. Life - You Mean So Much

 Assalamualaikum I want to go to Ikea once again with you. And try my best to be myself, to not fall asleep, Just to catch your laughs and smiles, And to watch you feel like yourself again.  I want to buy you lunch and dinner, and knock on your door. I want to have my meals with you, and think hard about what you can eat and what you're not supposed to take in. I want to fall asleep next to your bed. And notice how much you hate bad smells. And notice how you'd look like in the morning. And smile at you, with all my heart. I want you to feel my presence, each time you feel you're alone. I want to pick you up at the bus stop, and take you somewhere and we're gonna have some desserts. I want to buy you your favourite waffles with ice creams on top of them.
