L - Feelings

Assalamualaikum

Burger King held a big promotion,
And I never wanted to take a taste of it,
Nor I planned to do once.

But you said you'd landed. In front of it was where you stood.
You gave off a fresh scent, like blooming flowers with drizzling drops of morning dew,
And your hidden eyes behind those glasses, as sweet as the smoothies,
Endearing, like none.

You said you were there. And flashback to the night before,
I shivered in coldness in my brother's NYPD sweatshirt,
Feeling relaxed that the final was over.
And with you it's gonna be a new and beautiful closure.

I scheduled the trip to my current interest. It all brought me to you.
I was there an hour early, running around with predictions.
You said you were there, waiting. But you forgot your umbrella.
Thus the rain I ran through that day.

No, don't worry. I just feel like trying Burger King's products.
Hope the promotion waits for me.

 Assalamualaikum It's been months I guess? These days the monologues shared are within me and my mind only.  People said my looks are pale and clueless. If only they know, The things I keep replaying in my head. The things that keep my beatings awake and I promise you they include what I should have for my next meal.  I honestly don't know what has happened to me. What has befallen me, to make me who I am today. I replayed back the moments I had when I was young. Those people and places, those facades and brutal honesty. Life - You Mean So Much

 Assalamualaikum I want to go to Ikea once again with you. And try my best to be myself, to not fall asleep, Just to catch your laughs and smiles, And to watch you feel like yourself again.  I want to buy you lunch and dinner, and knock on your door. I want to have my meals with you, and think hard about what you can eat and what you're not supposed to take in. I want to fall asleep next to your bed. And notice how much you hate bad smells. And notice how you'd look like in the morning. And smile at you, with all my heart. I want you to feel my presence, each time you feel you're alone. I want to pick you up at the bus stop, and take you somewhere and we're gonna have some desserts. I want to buy you your favourite waffles with ice creams on top of them.
