JGS - My Precious

 Assalamualaikum

You were there again, in my dream.
And I didn't think about you hard enough for you to be on my mind,
Mixing me up between my reality and fantasy.

But when I saw her on the phone,
I couldn't help but calculate your percentage of happiness,
And whether in the near future I could see you on my doorstep again like always.
She called it off when the distance struck again.
And you wandered with my face as an aim.
And for you, I'd open my arms countless times.

You in my dreams would always make me think it was still there;
Summer light and clear skies, simple nights and street lights,
You searched for me who was in cream and red,
And I saw you while sitting in the crowd on the concrete.

Do you still have onigiri as your past time meal?
What do you think of the expensive wagyu we can't seem to afford here?
What were you doing, months ago, talking to me like it meant something to you.
When it didn't.
